Japanese Ambassador in the Nami foundation

On Thursday, February 15th, we had the opportunity to host at NAMI Foundation: Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Shigeo Matsutomi with his wife, Mrs. Kaori Matsutomi and Mrs. Yoriko Terada, Cultural Attaché. We took the opportunity to talk about what we have already done and what we plan to do.

Thank you for a nice meeting!

Please read what Mrs. Kaori wrote about this meeting:

There is “Nami”, which is the Association of Poles to introduce Japanese culture to Polish people in Wroclaw.
Some 40 poles are learning Kendo, and 15 Iai-do. There are Japanese language classes for the beginners, middle class speakers, and senior class speakers, and each class has 16~20 Polish students.
The tall instructor of Kendo held 3-dan last time we met him, now has 4-dan, which is very difficult to obtain. He said “ very tall one does not have an advantage in Kendo, the middle height is the best fit.” They gave a Japanese thin towel, on which “ the Resolution to be tenacious and unyielding — Ryushinn-kai“ The red T-shirt was given to me and I instantly was listed as one of the 50 volunteers who work with them to spread the Japanese culture to Poles.
I am very thankful for the facts that so many Polish people are working hard to introduce the Japanese culture and that their works have been fruitful in Poland!!😉💕
